Why Talonagro went into Power Inverters
Many of our numerous customers and business friends wonder why we are currently integrating power inverters into our business. Experience in Nigeria has demonstrated the critical role of Energy in Agro fisheries in Nigeria. Presently, power supply is critically low and major developments in post harvest and aquaculture are being hampered by the poor power supply situation; while public and private sectors grapple with efforts at increases in power supply. We believe a shortcut is necessary and critical in sustaining energy dependent systems in Agro business. The Talon group has therefore invested considerable efforts in developing appropriate alternative energy systems especially solar and wind power via the inverter systems in hybrid combination as part of our modest contribution to the practical solution to the energy supply matrix in the agribusiness sector.

Talon Nigeria Ltd has been awarded a contract by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources for the construction and installation of cage and pen fish culture systems for the development of Inland Fisheries in the North Central Zone, Nigeria.
